Animal Welfare and Environmental Stewardship:

At North Dakota Natural Beef, we are dedicated to continuing our stewardship of the land and do our best to produce an environmentally friendly product. We take great pride in knowing that our producers manage land use, animal welfare, waste disposal and water drainage in a conscientious and environmentally friendly manner. Our animals are cared for respectfully from birth through harvest. We take into account an animal’s welfare from our superior feeding program to a specially designed processing facility and our planned participation in the Certified Humane Program. We recognize the cattle industry’s contribution to the sustaining of life by providing us with a healthy food product and therefore deserve our respect and dignity through our handling and treatment programs. Unlike many other natural beef programs in the United States, we have the ability to control the animals through the entire process, harvesting in our own state-of-the-art facility in North Dakota.

North Dakota Natural Beef has a partnership with the North American Bison Cooperative, home of the TenderBison brand.  The two companies share the same mission as well as work together to process a natural, safe and tender product for consumers.
